So why do we say the first 10 posts?

• In most blog themes, it takes at least 5 to 10 posts in order for you to be able to see most of the body, form and structure of how the site will look. In other words, the template needs content.
• Having the goal of doing 10 posts may also help you to churn out that first post compared to the scenario where there’ll only be one featured post and hence all the pressure will be on it.
• The mindset of completing 10 posts will allow you to briefly touch on different areas that the blog will cover, instead of over concentrating on a particular topic. This will give you a better overview of the project to assist in the important early planning stage.

Tip: If you’re not sure what to write about, one common strategy is for new bloggers to share about their experience in starting a new blog.

Tip 2: Share info that will be useful to your reader. This does not include walking your dog or what you ate for dinner.

The original title just yelled “Quelle Horreur!” to us and this is why we changed it to something a little more subtle to reflect our brand.

• Identity: ‘Niche Internet Marketing Business Opportunities’ is NOT what we want our brand to be all about or perceived to be.  Although lots of content in theblog will cover the topic of ‘making money online’ and internet bizopps, we wanted to have a greater breadth from the outset.
• Keywords: Scary keywords on their own, let alone in that combination. It’s probably wrong when all the keywords are too right, some SEO guy said.
• Positioning: We didn’t want to be another Internet Marketing blog or have the keywords ‘internet marketing’ in the title, nor ‘business opportunities’.

So, we improved it to ‘MassiveNames.com – Targeting profitable Niche Markets with a Massive Potential’ … vague, open-ended and possibly describes what we do.

Update: It’s since been refined to “Profitable Niche Markets with a Massive Potential”

We’ve managed to confirm ours but if you’re getting stuck here and spending too long on it, move on. You can always come back to it once you’ve written a few posts and added more content to your new blog.

• Long Version: ‘Targeted Marketing and the Monetization of profitable Niche Markets with a Massive Audience’
• Final Selection: Targeting profitable Niche Markets with a Massive Audience.
• Our site title: “MassiveNiche.com – Targeting profitable Niche Markets with a Massive Audience”

If there’s one word to sum up what we’re about, it’s probably ‘marketing’. Ironically, that’s not in the Title and we somehow felt that it may be a good idea.

We’re a blog about Web Business Opportunities, Making Money Online, Internet Marketing and a lot of other topics related to digital marketing and electronic commerce.

Our name refers to one of the central themes of this site -Niche Marketing and the identification of profitable Niche markets with a Massive audience.
